I have 34 years experience in the Commercial Real Estate Industry and during the late 80s and early 90s worked with the  FDIC and RTC with the massive problem of disposing of failed Banks and Savings & Loan properties as well as the assets of these failed Federally insured institutions.  I was fortunate enough, through my CCIM affiliation, to be selected as a Sub-Contractor that worked with Fisher Auction Co. and managed the sells of over 400 properties in the Panhandle.  Unfortunately, REO is the new 'old' buzz word and I have the experience to handle your problem.
